We had a great experience with Sonia. She was extremely helpful and responsive with our May 2023 wedding. The weather in Napa was not looking promising for our all outdoor wedding, so naturally we were extremely nervous and stressed out. Sonia was able to calm our nerves and hold our hand through the extremely stressful wedding-planning process. She had some great ideas for how to elevate our wedding, and she was wonderful with finalizing all the details with our vendors. We couldn't recommend Sonia and the UTVE team enough!

what can we say except, we don't know what we would have done without her help! Sonia was amazing and she made sure that our wedding planning was seamless (yah she did pretty much everything haha) and during our wedding that our focus was on each other, and nothing else. we all know how challenging the pandemic was, but with her help, she basically took care of everything. from wedding planning to vendors to venue setup to clean up to after party and to even months post, she was just magical. Sonia was absolutely AMAZING!!! I don’t think I would have gotten through those last few months without her. She took over everything for me and anytime I called her to say, “I still need to contact XYZ”, her response was, “I already did!”
There were so many details to put together and so many vendors to check in with, I became overwhelmed very quickly. Sonia was constantly checking in with me to make sure I was doing okay and always letting me know that she in contact with all the vendors. She was able to keep our LARGE bridal party in check at all times and made sure the wedding was running smoothly and on time. Sonia is so easy to get along with and goes above and beyond to make sure the day is exactly what you want it to be, down to all the smallest details.
In the end, there were zero problems on our wedding and if there were, we didn’t know about them! As a bride, that’s all I could ever ask for.

Hiring Sonia was the best decision we made in planning our wedding! My husband and I got engaged in September of 2021 and got married in January 2022, a short four months later. We hired Sonia for the Partial Wedding Planning package and were extremely pleased with her work. Sonia is very organized and thoroughly prepared with everything that goes into planning a wedding. She had checklists and timelines at hand to keep everything on track which took much of the pressure off. Sonia has a kind and calm demeanor while still being persistent in “checking things off the list” which was the perfect balance for me! She was accommodating with my schedule even though I was working full-time. She was professional yet also felt like a good friend that I could be open with in sharing ideas. She also had some awesome suggestions which showed that she really knew what she was doing and had a great eye for décor, theme, and overall timeline flow. She coordinated with all my other vendors until our wedding day and balanced checking in and relaying questions without overwhelming me. On the wedding day everything worked flawlessly. I can honestly say that I was able to enjoy my wedding because I had full confidence that Sonia would handle every detail and would take care of anything unexpected. Everything flowed smoothly, exactly as intended, showing her great attention to detail and her character in truly going above and beyond to make our wedding day beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a wedding planner to hire Sonia!

Sonia guided us flawlessly through the process of bringing our wedding together and executing the big day. We had a large wedding (170 people) at a private venue that had not previously hosted weddings so there was a lot to do and Sonia helped us build our dream wedding from the ground up! We hired the Under the Vine team for the "month of coordination" package. Sonia gave us recommendations even before she officially came on board full time, and then was completely involved 45 days before the wedding. I could tell she wanted us to have OUR perfect wedding, and let us lead the way, never trying to push us into anything we didn't want. She was always focusing us our goals and pointing out any details we missed. She is so easy to talk to and I really trusted her judgement. She coordinated all final details-timing, contracts etc- with the vendors, especially working extensively with catering and rentals as our facility required bringing in everything we needed. She built a timeline that played out the entire day, and several diagrams mapping out our set up across the property and communicated that with everyone who needed to know. On the day of, everything was amazing. I have attached the thank you email I sent to Sonia immediately after with my reflections on how the day went to share how truly amazing she is. I highly recommend working with Under the Vine!!

"This is an extremely overdue review. I would 1000% recommend Under the Vine Events to help coordinate a wedding or any other event. Sonia is absolutely amazing in every way.
We hired Sonia as a day of coordinator for our wedding on October 10, 2020. Our wedding plans had to be completely altered due to Covid. We originally planned for a 150 guest wedding at a venue that had to be changed to a 40 guest wedding on a private property in Napa. The whole event was executed seamlessly, and that would not have been able to happen without having Under the Vine Events. Sonia handled a very stressful situation with ease and had great connections with vendors. Our wedding was actually more beautiful and special than we could have ever imagined. Sonia was there for us every step of the way and is extremely organized. She help with all vendor contact the month before the wedding, had a detailed Google doc with all of the day-of information, helped with creating a rental list, and always there for my thousands of questions. I would not hesitate to reach out to Sonia. She is a great person and an amazing coordinator. She is so easy to talk to and is very calming during such an exciting time.
